When running post-route simulations for multiple devices, the modules names in the post-route simulation netlist must be unique for each device in order to avoid simulation conflicts. Lattice design software supports this capability by allowing users to set user-defined prefix for module names during simulation netlist generation. Under the Timing Simulation section of the Strategy GUI in the Lattice Diamond software, there is a field called "Multichip Module Prefix". This field allows user to type in a prefix. This prefix will be attached to all the module names in the post-route simulation netlist.
