Discover the cutting-edge MIPI CSI-2 to Ethernet reference design, an advanced system that seamlessly integrates two camera sensors with each Lattice Avant™ Versa board. Utilizing the Audio Video Transport Protocol (AVTP) layer 2, this design ensures efficient video transmission, delivering high-quality video streaming and smooth integration across various components.
Ideal for applications demanding high-quality, real-time video streaming, this modular design supports high-definition video output. The AVTP, defined in IEEE 1722-2016, serves as the transport protocol within the Audio Video Bridging (AVB) profile of the Time Sensitive Network (TSN), enabling video data transmission over Ethernet. While the primary objective of this reference design is to demonstrate video data transport over Ethernet using AVTP, complete functionality of AVTP and AVB standards are not implemented, such as time synchronization with gPTP. However, you can leverage this design to adapt the transport protocol for other video-to-Ethernet applications.
